I got this compliment a little while back.
I think about it sometimes and ask myself:
Why do I have an abundance mindset?
I moved 12 times as a kid between 3 schools, 2 states, and 5 towns.
But my parents worked hard so they could give us anything we want within reason (even if they couldnβt afford it).
Iβm pretty sure they spent their last dollar so I could get Call of Duty on release date.
Anyways, since I was a kid Iβve been conditioned to βI can have whatever I want if I earn itβ.
Get good grades - rewarded with a game.
Donβt break trust - rewarded with freedom.
And so on.
So in a way, I think creating reward-based systems in your life can cure your scarcity mindset.
Want to eat a cookie? Go get a hard workout in first.
Want to binge-watch a show? Go make a sale first.
Want to travel? Hit your next MRR goal first.
Maybe weβre just monkeys after all.
Cheers,
Marcos
