It got me thinking about how to advertise in 2025
People only say this under what they perceive as an advertisement.
AKA if they think you’re trying to sell something.
But in 2025, there’s a new form of advertising that is disguised as what we accept to be “content”
I’d argue that this is the most effective way to sell stuff online
Examples of this:
Hormozi subtly talking about his books
Mr. Beast giving feastables bars to contestants on his videos
Kylie wearing her own cosmetics
Here’s how you can implement this:
You have an offer, let’s say biohacking
You write a thread about how someone can improve their sleep
The 2nd bullet point of this thread talks about wearing red-light glasses
You have a few options
You can hard-plug an affiliate link to your red light glasses
Or you can weave in a subtle CTA to your biohacking program with a oneliner:
I tell everyone I work with to wear red-light glasses 90 minutes before bed.
The reader thinks:
“Who does he work with?”
“Is he some kind of coach?”
And that curious thought leads them down a rabbit hole.
AKA your funnel that is ideally optimized.
