Last year, we made $1.7 million off of my 25,000 followers.
I'm about to break down every dollar.
The Revenue Breakdown
Low-ticket products: $7,611
Viral tweet templates, swipe files, a $197 course. Nothing I prioritized heavily. An evergreen funnel runs it in the background, a 7-day email sequence that converts people who aren't ready for the agency.
(you can check those out here by the way)
It's not life-changing money on its own. But it handles the 99% of people who don’t qualify to work with the agency. They still get value. We still get revenue. And occasionally, they become agency clients a year later (true story).
Consulting: $17,650
Hourly calls and a few three-month packages. This is for people who aren't a fit for full agency services but have a high-level question worth answering properly. Some of them came back as agency clients too. All of them get actual results.
Affiliates: $5,257
Tools my clients use anyway. Hypefury. Payment processors. Course platforms. I drop affiliate links in newsletters and in conversations where they make sense. I don't spam. I just recommend what works and collect a commission when someone signs up.
By February 2026, we'd already hit $10K in affiliate revenue for the year. That allowed us to hire a new social media manager. Worth it.
The agency: $1,740,447
This is 98% of total revenue. Retainers from $5K to $10K per month, plus profit-share arrangements on select clients. We signed 10 to 20 clients over the course of the year. One came to us making $30K a month and hit $100K within twelve months.
That's the model. Get results. Document them. Use the documentation to attract the next client.
None of this works without the content flywheel.
95% of this leadflow is from X and Referrals.
Every post I made served one of four purposes:
Demonstrate expertise (authority)
Attract the right people (lead gen)
Build trust over time (relationship)
Show proof of results (social proof)
Content generates followers. Followers become clients. Clients become case studies. Case studies become content. And the cycle repeats.
In year 1 and 2, most clients came from cold and warm outreach. I had to convince people. Now the majority come from inbound and referral. It took time.
If you're starting from zero, here's the exact offer-stack I'd run:
Start high-ticket. One premium offer promoted via DM. $5,000 to $10,000+. One sale allows you to build your Personal Brand profitably and focus on growth.
Add downsells. After the first product is generating $50,000 to $100,000/month on X+LinkedIn, add in a downsell for unqualified leads at $997 to $2,500.
Monetize backend. When the system is flowing, make sure you have a backend retention/MRR offer or upsell to capitalize on the frontend machine. You only pay to acquire them once, pure profit.
I tell every client to implement a version of this based on their niche.
And it’s exactly what I’ve done at The Birdhouse in our own way.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
Marcos
